KORVI QUARTET

Founded by jazz violinist and composer Kenneth Li, Korvi Quartet is the first jazz string quartet from Hong Kong and also one of the rare jazz string quartets in the world. Characterised by the combination of the essence of classical and jazz genres, Korvi's performance often exudes a unique and rich sense of European jazz, and is renowned for its innovative perspective in breaking new grounds through exploring the intriguing chemical effects of groove and improvisation within the setting of a string quartet.
While having performed in different countries in Europe, America and Asia, members of Korvi also took part in numerous acclaimed performances of unconventional settings in Hong Kong, such as The Tale of Bees in Concert in collaboration with local bee conservation organisation Beetales. The quartet's original single MERA is now available on various streaming platforms.
